Posthumus biography of Mrs Abioro Hodonu Thasi Sarah (Nee Oke)

Mrs ABIORO HODONU THASI SARAH was born 6th of January, 1937 into the family of OKE-ATUKO, Agoko, Medejonu in Republic of Benin.

THASI was born into family of two (2), she was born into White Garment Church (AGUN WIWE), she relocate to Nigeria after the death of her parents where she stayed and lived with her extended families.

THASI was a trader, she trade between Republic of Nigeria and Benin Republic.

THASI got married to ABIORO HODONU 26th of June, 1968.

She was survived by eight (8) children, she lost her last child SINTONJI ALICE OMOTAYO two years after the death of her husband while ATHANDE DAMILARE is the last born of her children.

THASI HODONU was a supportive wife to her husband, a caring mother to her children, after the death of her husband, 17th of March, 1992, she waited on her faith and believe in God on how to raise and take care of her children.

While she was alive, she was more consistent in her business and farming, as she was one of the well sought after seller and producer of Palm Oil and Cassava flakes (GARRI) which almost all the children emulate from her in support to their handwork learning because she couldn’t afford to send them to school.

THASI HODONU ABIORO was a devoted Christian before her death, she looked up to God for support on her last child (ABIORO ATHANDE DAMILARE) whose decision was to be educated.

She had an agreement with God and her children to support his education.

THASI SARAH was a prayer warrior during her life time, she was a member and a worker in the Redeemed Christian Church of God, she was baptized in the Redeemed Christian Church of God and she was also the women leader (IYA IJO) of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Jesus Palace Headquarters, Mologoji, Ago Egun, Agosasa, Ipokia Local Government, Ogun State.

THASI SARAH HODONU ABIORO was a recognized mother, grandmother and great grandmother in the family of Jaka’s.

She is called Agoko as a wife’s name among the extended family wives.

She is well recognized in the community as IYAMI, the name she was being called by her son (Damilare Athande) and the extended families.

THASI SARAH was happy and filled with gratitude to God Almighty when her son become a graduate and served the Federal Republic of Nigeria as National Youth Service Corp (NYSC).

She prayed for all the destiny helpers who supported the education of her son.

Before the death of MRS ABIORO HODONU THASI SARAH June 11th, 2020 and was buried June 12th, 2020, She reveal the vision of God about each of her children, she thought them to be more united and be more focused in the things of God.

THASI SARAH declared her support for the Political career of her son ABIORO DAMILARE ATHANDE as it was discussed and agreed by her husband before his death.

She did all necessary prayers as a mother and gives her words of assurance as revealed since his birth/ childhood.

She prayed for her Children, Grandchildren and Great-grandchildren, the families, community and the Federal Republic of Nigeria before giving up the Ghost.

The children were glad and grateful to God Almighty for her well life spent.
