Popular HR, Tunde TASH’s HumanSquad wins Ryerson DMZ grant

A Canadian company, “HumanSquad”, co-founded by Canada-based Nigerian Certified HR Professional, Tunde Omotoye popularly known as Tunde TASH has won the Ryerson DMZ Black Innovation Summit.

The Toronto-based tech-driven company, which was launched last year to help immigrants navigate their immigration and career journeys to Canada, came first in the competition to win a $20,000 grant.

Announcing the top three winners, world-leading growth incubator, Ryerson DMZ said the purpose of the summit was to help Black-led startups and support Black founders in the Toronto tech ecosystem.

Ryerson’s DMZ also described the winning as “a WIN to all Black founders”.

Tunde, a Senior Business Operations Analyst, and World Educational Services (WES) Ambassador also announced the news on his social media platform on Thursday.

HumanSquad is a that is passionate about assisting people in reaching their fullest potential through HR Consultancy, Personal Branding (CV/Resumé, Cover Letters tailored to Job Openings, Mock Interview Coaching, Skill Audit) and Canada Immigration Processes (Migrating as Permanent Resident/Student).

HumanSquad also has an initiative called the CareerWise summit. A summit looking to foster networking for immigrant professionals and will focus on Personal Development, Job Search, Immigration, Customer Experience, Innovation, Diversity and How Immigrants can leverage the Canadian labour market.

Tunde also an author who documented his experience in Canada in a book titled ‘Adelaide Street’.
