Popular Abuja comedian MC Washington marks birthday in style

Popular Abuja-based comedian and Compere, Ernest Anyanwu with the stage name Washington has marked his birthday amidst plethora of goodwill messages from friends and well wishers across the country and beyond.

His wife, Mrs Anyanwu set the tone when she surprisingly unveiled videos of goodwill messages sent in by friends of her lovely husband.

This was in the presence of few invited close allies at their residence in Abuja where a private reception took place in honour of the highly elated celebrant.

Among those who featured in the video goodwill message include members of the 36 Pals Social Club where the celebrant himself belongs.

He was moved to excitement to see several persons send in their goodwill messages and kind words about him.

Few friends who came around were equally entertained as they all left satisfied.

As a skit maker, stand up comedian and a notable MC who has anchored high profile events, he is one man who has developed a unique way of connecting with people.

He has assisted in boosting the career of a lot of comedians and other persons in the entertainment space.

A veteran in the art of entertainment, he enjoys a clean bill of health as no scandal has been linked with him

He is known as Activator because he finds fulfillment in giving cheerfully. His presence at social functions is usually felt as he is usually the first person to activate rains of money on celebrants.

Popular socialite, Obinna Iyiegbu aka Obi Cubana had openly declared “Washington you are my son”.

He has produced lots of skits which reflect day to day struggle of all Nigerians.

Social media was also agog with his birthday messages where he posted eye-catching pictures of himself, attracting good wishes from friends there.

The spontaneous comedian had his grand birthday party at De Comedy Union where top Celebrities and personalities celebrated him in style. It was indeed a rain of cash and kindness.
