In an effort to enhance access to medical and healthcare services across Nigeria and Africa, Helpa has introduced a transformative platform designed to empower individuals, and Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) to harness the power of crowdfunding in support of people’s medical and healthcare procedures.

Helpa, a subsidiary of the renowned Helpa Care Foundation, an NGO, proudly emerges as a go to platform dedicated to delivering crowdfunding services to families, individuals, communities, and organizations in Nigeria and Africa as a whole.

A statement released to the media by Helpa Co-founder and CEO, Rasheedat Amode, unveiled the core objective of Helpa, stating, “Our mission is to connect philanthropists with individuals and entities genuinely in need of financial assistance for critical and emergency medical requirements.”

Also speaking on the same subject, the Co-founder and COO of Helpa, Salahudeen Tope, elaborated on the significance of this initiative, “Helpa marks a watershed moment currently as Nigeria’s number one medical crowdfunding platform. We are resolute in our commitment to offer crowdfunding services to diverse entities, spanning families, individuals, communities, and the broader African landscape. Our aim is to enable individuals and NGOs to leverage crowdfunding for their healthcare and medical projects, allowing donors to engage in a transparent system that supports causes close to their hearts.”

Temitope Bamidele, the Chief Technical Officer of Helpa, shed light on the organization’s overarching mission. “We are unwavering in our quest to expand access to affordable healthcare and medical facilities for all segments of society, not only in Nigeria but also across Africa. Before it used to be just Gofundme but it has its limitations for Africans. But now, our aim is to create something better for our people to provide financial support for medical-related projects with the goal of extending healthcare access to all corners of Nigeria and Africa.”

Helpa’s innovative approach to crowdfunding in the medical sphere represents a milestone in extending healthcare access and financial support to those in need. With a commitment to bridging gaps and saving lives, the platform collaborates with NGOs seeking to create a positive impact through crowdfunding and SMEs looking to raise capital for their small business ventures.

At its core, Helpa’s vision and mission are rooted in creating a more accessible healthcare landscape for all strata of society, not only in Nigeria but also throughout Africa. It seeks to empower individuals, communities, and organizations by providing financial access to medical projects, ultimately promoting healthcare accessibility across Nigeria and the entire African continent.
