The management of Alex-Ekwueme Federal Teaching Hospital Abakaliki (AE-FETHA) has condemned the involvement of its staff in ponzi schemes.
The hospital Director of Administration Mr Callistus Okonkwo expressed his anger in a press release he signed and made available to newsmen in Abakaliki on Monday.
According to him, the participation of the workers, have brought a bad name to the hospital.

He said that such act is regarded as a serious misconduct punishable in line with the public service rule as the staffs engaged by participation or as agents.
He further condemned the activities of some staff, department and group of persons in the hospital that indulges in money lending and borrowing with the objective of making gains.
“The management describes such act as misconduct punishable in line with the public service rules
“The management has henceforth prohibited such activities and therefore warns that any individual, unit, department, or group of persons caught in the act shall be punished accordingly.”
