Police uncover identity of slain Abuja crossdresser

The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command has made a significant breakthrough in the investigation into the murder of a popular crossdresser, known as “Abuja Area Mama,” whose lifeless body was discovered on August 8 along the Katampe-Mabushi Expressway.

According to a statement released by the command’s spokesperson, Josephine Adeh, preliminary investigations have revealed that the deceased is 33-year-old Ifeanyi Chukwu-Agah Benedict from Afikpo North Local Government Area of Ebonyi.

The police have confirmed that the deceased resided in Dapé, Karmo Area of Abuja, and that the family has been contacted and is cooperating with the investigation.

The FCT Police Command is continuing to work tirelessly to unravel the circumstances surrounding the tragic incident and ensure that justice is served.
