POLICEMEN in Ondo town headquarters of Ondo West local government area of the state in the early hours of Monday went on rampage protesting the non payment of their allowance during the just concluded governorship election in the state
The protesting policemen in their large number trooped to the streets in the Fagin area of the Ondo city, chanting various songs to show their grievances on the treatment melted on them after the governorship election.
The angry policemen who refused to speak with journalist threatened to beat any journalist who tries to take their pictures or talk to them.
The protest however caused traffic gridlock within the town while workers going to their various offices were held up for several hours.
