Police nab seven pipeline vandals in Adamawa

Seven persons are cooling their neves in the Nigeria Police cell helping them to unravel those behind the scene in the vandalisation of NNPCL pipelines in Adamawa state.

In a press statement signed by the Adamawa state police command ‘s public relations officer, SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje Friday and made available to Nigeria Tribune, stated that “The Command acted upon information provided by a good Samaritan lead to the arrest of the suspects in Demsa local government area of the state”

According to him , those arrested Umar Musa 40, resident of Kaduna road, Abuja, Mohammed Hassan 25, resident of Kasuwan Shanu Potiskum ,Yobe State, Adamu Abdullahi 28, resident of Bununu Funai,Yobe State, Yakubu Adamu 27, resident of Sabon Layi, Potiskum, Yobe State, Gabriel Wale 40, resident of Mafoluku Oshodi, Lagos state, Abubakar Garba 40, resident of Anguwan Dosa, Kaduna State and Aliyu Muhammad 28, Darazo local government, Bauchi state.

“This distressing incident poses a substantial threat to public safety and represents a severe act of economic sabotage as it pertains to a crucial infrastructure linking the Adamawa and Southern part of the country.

“The case is under investigation and measures are underway to apprehend their collaborators who are operating along with them from behind the scene.

“These achievements underscores the Command’s resolute dedication to safeguarding public assets and ensuring citizens’ safety through collaborative community efforts.

“The Commissioner of Police, CP Dankombo Morris urges members of the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities.
