OPERATIVES of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) have arrested 36 male and 12 female cult suspects at a location in Warri, Delta State.
The 48 youths suspected to be members of Neo Black Movement (Black Axe) were rounded up night of July 7 during an alleged initiation and anniversary ceremonies.
The location, as gathered, was around a hotel at Okuokoko in Okpe Local Government Area of the state.
Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), SP Celestina Kalu, in a statement, said NBM mobile handsets, hand bands, suspected wraps of Indian hemps, black headgears, neck chains with NBM logo.
She noted that further investigations were ongoing.
