This was contained in a statement made available to Metro by the state Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), SP Adekunle Ajisebutu.
The statement said the police authorities were worried by this ugly trend and had resolved to enforce the ban all over the country, “so Oyo State is, therefore, no exception.
“Citizens are, once again, warned against the unlawful practice, as there will be no further warning before the full enforcement of the ban, which will take place throughout the state soon, and any offender arrested after this warning will be prosecuted.”
