The Anambra State Police Command has arrested one of the principal suspects in the burning and killing of a 74-year-old woman, Alice Anene, in Abagana, Njikoka Local Government Area of the state.
According to a statement by the command’s spokesperson, SP Ikenga Tochukwu, the suspect, Obinna Anene, 33, was identified as the principal suspect in the crime.
Obinna Anene is from Amene Village, Abagana, Njikoka Local Government Area of Anambra State.
Ikenga’s statement further revealed that the suspect had been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department, Homicide SCID Section, in Awka for further investigation.
