THE police in Osun on Tuesday arraigned a 59-year-old man, Kasoli Buraimoh, in an Osogbo Chief Magistrates’ Court for contempt.
The Prosecution Counsel, ASP Idoko John, told the court that the defendant behaved ”rudely” in the Federal High Court Osogbo.
John said the defendant was disobedient to and disrespectful toward the court.

He said the offence contravened the provisions of Section 133(9) of the criminal code cap 34 vol. 11, Laws of Osun, 2002,
The accused pleaded not guilty.
The defence counsel, Mr Bode Babalola, prayed the court to admit his client to bail in the most liberal terms.
The Magistrate, Mrs Mary Awodele, admitted the accused to bail in the sum of N50,000 with three sureties in the like sum.
Awodele ordered that the sureties must reside within the court jurisdiction and provide evidence of tax payments with three passports sized photographs, attached with an affidavit of means.
She adjourned the case until Oct. 8, for mention.
