THE police on Tuesday, arraigned a 39-year-old man, Daniel Olalekan in a Badagry Chief Magistrates’ Court for allegedly stealing aluminium windows valued at N200,000.
The Olalekan, whose address was not given is charged with theft.
The prosecutor, ASP Clement Okoimose, told the court that the defendant committed the offences on May 3, at about 5:30 p.m. at Police Housing Estate, Mowo, Badagry.
Okoimose said that the defendant stole aluminium windows valued at N200,000, the property of Nigeria Police Housing Estate.
The prosecutor said that he was caught in the act and handed over to the police for prosecution.

He said the offence contravened the provisions of Section 287 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015.
After the charge was read to him, he pleaded not guilty.
The Chief Magistrate, Mr Aka Basorun, admitted the accused to bail in the sum of N100, 000 with two sureties in like sum.
He, however, adjourned the case until May 23, for further hearing.
