Plateau Police command debunks allege killing of commuters.

Contrary to the information trending in the social media that some people are killing Commuters at Anguldi Junction in Jos South Local Government Area of Plateau State, the state police command has enjoined people of the state to disregard the information and go about their lawful businesses.

According to a statement issued and signed by the state Police Public Relation Officer, DSP Matthias Tyopev Terna, the command said there was no iota of truth in the writeup and called on members of the public to disregard same.

“Plateau State Police Command wish to debunk the false information trending on the Social Media that some people are killing Commuters at Anguldi Junction in Jos South Local Government Area of Plateau State.

” The Command, therefore, inform that there is no iota of truth in that writeup and call on members of the public to disregard same. It is just the handiwork of a mischief maker who is not happy with the peaceful conduct of the people of Plateau during the 2019 General Elections”

The Command, therefore, assured members of the public that it shall continue to do its best by patrolling the highways in order to keep the roads safe and advised members of the public to call General Elections Joint Operation Room Numbers for prompt action whenever they notice any unusual issue around them.
