Phyno confirms return of annual ‘Phynofest Concert’ to Enugu

Nigerian rapper and music icon, Phyno, has officially announced the return of his highly anticipated annual concert in Enugu, “Phynofest. The event, which has consistently sold out in previous editions, is set to make a grand comeback after a brief hiatus.

Taking to social media, Phyno shared the exciting news with his fans, promising an unforgettable experience. “Enugu, it’s about to be lit again! Phynofest is back, and this year we’re going bigger and better. You all have been asking for it, and now it’s time to make history again,” the rapper wrote.

The musician also stated that part of his visit was geared towards intimating the governor on plans for his concert scheduled for November 2025. Phyno emphasised that government support would help ensure the event’s success and enhance tourism in the state.

Phynofest has become one of Nigeria’s most iconic music events, drawing massive crowds to the Coal City. Known for its electrifying performances and star-studded lineup, the concert has previously featured some of the biggest names in the Nigerian music scene, including Olamide, Flavour, and Zoro.

Fans expressed their excitement online, with many already speculating about potential guest appearances and surprises. “We’ve missed this! Phynofest always brings the whole state together,” a fan commented on Instagram.

Phyno, whose real name is Chibuzor Nelson Azubuike, is a celebrated figure in the Nigerian music industry, known for his unique blend of rap and indigenous Igbo sounds. His influence in the Eastern region and beyond has earned him a loyal fanbase, making Phynofest a cultural phenomenon.

While the official venue details for the concert are yet to be confirmed, Phyno assured fans that more announcements would follow soon. Many are already gearing up for what promises to be a monumental event in Nigeria’s entertainment calendar.
