In a heartwarming gesture, former presidential candidate, Peter Obi, visited Dele Farotimi following his release from prison.
Peter Obi took to his official X account formally (Twitter) on Friday, 3 January, to announce his visit to Dele Farotimi’s residence
Obi shared that this was his first opportunity to meet with Farotimi since his return from the correctional center in Ekiti.
During the visit, Obi expressed his pleasure in finding Farotimi in good spirits, commending his resilience and unwavering commitment to the cause of a better Nigeria.
Farotimi, known for his bold advocacy for good governance, has consistently been a voice of courage in the face of adversity.

The former Anambra State governor also highlighted Farotimi’s steadfastness in advocating for a better future, saying, “Dele Farotimi exemplifies courage in the face of adversity, consistently taking bold stands for good governance in our nation.”
He wrote, ” Yesterday, following my visit and meeting with President Obasanjo, I made time to visit my dear younger brother, Dele Farotimi. Since his return from the correctional center in Ekiti, I have not had the opportunity to meet with him. I was pleased to find him in good spirits and deeply encouraged by his unwavering dedication to the struggle for a better Nigeria.
