Dr Kunle Adegbite, an Ogbomoso-born philanthropist, marked the end of the year by commissioning essential community projects, including a solar-powered borehole, a relaxation/viewing centre for youths, and extending support to widows with foodstuff and cash donations.
In a gesture aimed at enhancing the welfare and well-being of his community, Dr Kunle Adegbite launched several developmental initiatives.
Adegbite’s philanthropic efforts, marked by the commissioning of a solar-powered borehole, a relaxation/viewing centre, and support to widows, reflect a commitment to community development and well-being.
The projects aim to alleviate hardships faced by the locals and provide essential resources for a better quality of life.
During the commissioning of these projects, he emphasized that his motive was purely driven by a desire to see his people happy and living in peace, dismissing any political insinuations circulating about his actions.
The solar-powered borehole and relaxation/viewing centre stand as vital infrastructures geared towards meeting the needs of the community, particularly the youth.
The provision of these amenities drew expressions of gratitude from villagers who had previously endured hardships, narrating the arduous journey of travelling 20 kilometres to access water.
At the commissioning ceremony, notable dignitaries such as Admiral Jacob Ajani, Prophetess Funmilayo Ayelowa, and Mr. Seun Olalere were present to witness the unveiling of these community-oriented projects.
Dr Adegbite stated, “My commitment to the betterment of our community is not driven by politics. It’s about ensuring the well-being and happiness of our people. These projects are just a beginning; I aim to do more for our community.”
