Petrol prices hike: UAE residents to pay more to fill up tank in November

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has announced a new hike in petrol prices for November 2024, marking a Dh0.08 to Dh0.09 increase per litre compared to October rates.

This adjustment, approved by the Ministry of Energy, is part of the monthly review based on the average global oil price plus distribution costs.

The updated rates, which apply from November 1, reflect a rise in costs for all petrol grades across the nation.

For motorists, this change means a slight yet notable increase in the cost of filling up. The cost of filling a petrol tank in November will be between Dh4.08 (N1,824,34) and Dh6.66  (N2,977,97) higher than that of October, depending on vehicle type.
