Peter: I don’t speak to my brother •Shuns Jude on birth

Published by

There is no end in sight to the face-off among the Okoye brothers. While there had been silent moves to reconcile the family, that used to made up the PSqaure music duo, fresh facts have emerged that the trio of Jude, Peter and Paul may not be reconciling anytime soon.

Jude, who is the eldest of the Okoyes, marked his birthday days back but with Peter, who was seen by some as the black sheep in the family shunned his elder brother on his day as fans questioning his decision to allow his hatred for his brother got the better part of him.

But in what seemed to be a swift response to the bashing he received, Peter during an interview with Dotun of Cool FM revealed that he and his older brother don’t speak after the PSquare music group was dissolved over a year ago.

The duo of Paul and Peter have been pursuing a solo music career for almost two years but findings by R revealed that the success recorded from the individual pursuit of their goals is a far cry from what they achieved as a group. Their fans are divided about the development but they seemed to be getting used to the fact that there may never be PSquare again.

Peter, in the interview monitored by R said, he will always wish his brothers well, despite the dissolution of the PSquare and the irreconcilable differences, adding that “I will always pray and wish them well in all that they do.”

Asked if he had wished him happy birthday, Peter said:  “The irony of it is that I will always wish them well in everything. But we don’t talk and I can’t deny that fact. Since the dissolution that paved way for every party to go on their ways, we have not been on talking terms. I am not going to beat about the bush on this, it is what it is. I am being honest. We don’t talk.”
