A real estate entrepreneur based in Ogun State, Ambassador (Dr) Babatunde Adeyemo, has congratulated Governor Dapo Abiodun on the first anniversary of his second term in office, which also coincided with his 64th birthday celebration.
In a statement issued on Wednesday morning, Adeyemo disclosed that Abiodun’s leadership style made the prevailing favourable atmosphere of ‘ease of doing business’ possible, adding that his governance of inclusion and even development were factors that put the state on a steady trajectory of growth and development.
The chief executive officer of Pelican Valley Nigeria Limited, the real estate firm behind Pelican Valley Estate, Pelican Brief, Pelican Ecostay Apartments and Pelican’s Greenish Acre Farm Estate, particularly hailed the governor’s tenacity and discipline, which he noted, are revolutionising the physical and urban outlook of the state.
He said Abiodun’s administration has inculcated in real estate investors and developers a new level of discipline and principle by impressing on them the importance of due diligence and why they must first get “approvals” for every property before development to ensure strict adherence to the master plan of Ogun State and sustainable development
.He identified infrastructural development, housing, security, road construction works, agriculture and the agro-cargo airport project as some of the areas where the governor’s visionary leadership has set a solid foundation for business to sprout and thrive as well as boost tourism profile for the continued progress and prosperity in Ogun State and its people.
“On this auspicious day of the first anniversary of your second tenure, which doubles as your 64th birthday, the Pelican Valley wishes Prince Dapo Abiodun, happy birthday and is proud to celebrate your laudable achievements in the last five years as governor of Ogun State. We wish you continued success in your tenure,” Adeyemo stated.
