The aspirants in attendance are Senator Rasheed Ladoja, former Governor of Oyo State, Professor Tunde Adeniran, Former Education Minister, Chief Gbenga Daniel, former Ogun state governor, Chief Raymond Dokpesi, Chairman Daar Communication, Chief Olabode George., former National Deputy Chairman of the Party, Professor Taoheed Adedoja, former Sports and Special Duties Minister, Mr Jimi Agbaje, the LAGOS State Governorship Candidate of the Party in 2015 election and Prince Uche Secondus, former Acting National Chairman of the Party.
Addressing the opening session of the meeting, Makarfi urged the aspirants to close ranks among themselves in order for the Party not to repeat the mistakes of the Party.
He made it clear that it was only when the Party succeeded that every member of the Party would smile, saying that there was a large contribution to the progress of the Party.
Makarfi stated that the meeting was summoned to listen to the aspirants on what they have in stock for the Party and their past contributions to growth and development.
