Governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Kwara state, Razak Atunwa, has thrown open the gate for the match between Kwara United FC, Ilorin and Sunshine Stars FC of Akure.
The Media Officer of Kwara United, Abdulwaheed Bibire, disclosed this in an interview with the newsmen in Ilorin on Saturday.
The Kwara United spokesman said no one would pay anything to see their darling team play for the first time in 2019 and in the new season.
He said Atunwa has also promised to reward the Harmony Boys N50,000 each for every goal scored against the Owena Waves.
Bibire said the Kwara PDP guber candidate said this is just the beginning of what to come for sports if elected.
The match is one of the group A abridged 2018/2019 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) match day 1 encounters.
The encounter is scheduled for the Kwara Stadium Complex, Ilorin beginning from 4 pm on Sunday.
