PDP convention ratifies state congresses

The National Convention of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), on Thursday, ratified and adopted all the Congresses recently conducted by the state chapters of the party.
This followed a motion moved to that effect by Senator Gabriel Susan of Benue State which was supported by the House of Representatives Minority Leader Hon Ndudi Elumelu from Delta State.
This came just as the National Assembly Caucus of the Party described the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) Government as a disaster to the nation and assured that the PDP was totally ready to fix the country again
Speaking at the Convention on behalf of the Caucus, the Senate Minority Leader, Senator Eyinaya Abaribe declared that the APC came to power in 2015 through deceit and propaganda with fake promises to Nigerians
He stated that by their trucks they took over from the PDP when a United States of America Dollar was being exchanged for a token of N160 but which had gone upon to N580 by today
He however assured that all hopes were not lost as the PDP was determined to correct the dangerous trend and urged Nigerians to brace up for the challenges ahead and voted out the deceitful Government come 2023
He lamented that under the APC government, bandits have taken over the country while insecurity now reigned supreme as nowhere is secured again in the country
According to him, “we the PDP lawmakers at both the chambers of the National Assembly are deeply worried about the sudden change of things in the country and we working hard with others to make change come 2023 by bringing back our great Party, the PDP to power to fix the nation and make things work again
Speaking on the large turned out and peaceful conduct of the Convention, the House of Representatives  Minority Leader, Hon Ndudi Elumelu described it as a good outing to be expected come 2023 as Nigerians were fed up with the APC Government and were anxiously waiting for the PDP to rescue the nation from her ruins.
