PDP condoles Gov Namadi Over mother, son’s death

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Jigawa has paid a condolence visit to Governor Malam Umar Namadi following the tragic deaths of his mother, Hajiya Maryam Namadi, and son, Abdulwahab Umar Namadi.

The visit was led by the party’s 2023 gubernatorial candidate, Alhaji Mustapha Sule Lamido, who described the deaths as “shocking” and offered heartfelt condolences to the governor and his family.

Lamido prayed that Allah grants the governor and his family the strength to bear the loss and that the departed rest in eternal peace.

He also acknowledged the immense pain of losing a child, saying “no parent should ever have to face such a heart-wrenching experience”.

This tragic incident has sparked an outpouring of support for the governor, with Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu also extending his condolences to the Namadi family.

Sanwo-Olu described the twin tragedies as “devastating” and prayed for the repose of the souls of Hajiya Maryam and Abdulwahab Namadi.
