PCCC to hold bi-annual retreat in Paris for members in Nigeria, USA

Plus Consulting Career Club (PCCC) is set to hold its bi-annual retreat (BAR) in Paris, France.

The retreat will be attended by club ambassadors and members from Nigeria, with others from USA, UK and Canada.

Initially scheduled for February, board members resolved to change dates to May 27 through May 31, 2022, to allow for increased participation of 20 participants.

According to the President of PCCC, Joan Abaziuwa, a banker in the USA, she emphasized the essence of the retreat to members and the organization as beneficial to solving the problem facing professionals in the globe.

She said, “The (BAR) retreat is very important to our organization as a strategy for creating stronger bonds and increasing enthusiasm and motivation.

“This retreat will also create a platform for our colleagues to learn and unlearn, as well as to rally around the issues and opportunities facing organizations in our industry worldwide.”

Mrs Abaziuwa said the organization decided to use Paris because it is central to the different locations of members who live in other countries all around the globe.

“The organization will cover all travel expenses – round trip reservation and itinerary, travel insurance policy, and proof of accommodation for participants,” she added.

Samuel Ajala, a journalist and one of the facilitators, expressed his eagerness to attend the retreat so as to contribute towards the development of the organization.

He also said the retreat will provide him with the opportunity to discuss issues facing professionals in Nigeria and recommend solutions.

One of the club ambassadors, Seyi Babalola, an undergraduate of Federal University of Oye-Ekiti, said the retreat will provide him with a platform to network with fellow club members.

He said it will also enable him to share ideas that would help improve the community in Nigeria and even Africa.

Plus Consulting Career Club (PCCC) is a registered 501 (c) 3 exempt organization with a mission to support African professionals searching for productive employment and professional growth. The mission aligns with the 8th Sustainable Goal of the United Nations “Promote sustained, inclusive, and sustainable economic growth, full and productive employment, and decent work for all.”
