A pastor in Lagos State has garnered significant attention from Nigerians after announcing the suspension of offering collections in his church.
In a viral video, the pastor is seen addressing his congregation, explaining that due to the current economic situation in the country, it would be unfair to collect offerings.
He highlighted the increased costs of petrol and transportation, which have put a financial strain on many people.
The pastor declared that until the price of petrol decreases, his church will not accept offerings from its members.
He also urged other pastors to consider stopping the collection of offerings from their congregations in solidarity with those struggling financially.
