The Nigeria Police Force has released TikToker Olumide Ogunsanwo, also known as TikToker SeaKing, from custody.
This was disclosed on Monday by the publisher of Sahara Reporters, Omoyele Sowore, on Monday via X.
Tribune Online reports that the TikToker was arrested on allegations of cyberbullying against Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the general overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, (RCCG), following remarks made during a live session in December 2024.
Sowore said he was a signatory to the administrative bail before SeaKing was out of detention.
Adding a photo of SeaKing in a car smiling, Sowore wrote, “We are pleased to confirm that Olumide Ogunsanwo @seaking303 has been released from @PoliceNG custody after our prompt rejection of the initial bail condition requiring a Level 12 or 10 civil servant, resulting in a swift agreement and release on administrative bail, signed by me.”
Tribune Online reports that Adeboye had distanced himself from the arrest of the TikToker, saying he was only fulfilling prophecy.
