Passengers burnt to ashes as two commercial vehicles crash in Bauchi

Yet to be ascertained number of passengers have been burnt to ashes as two commercial vehicles travelling in opposite directions collided at Durum, 57km along the ever-busy Bauchi–Kano road. 

Reports from the State Command of FRSC revealed that occupants of the two commercial vehicles that were involved in a road crash were burnt to ashes. 

It was gathered that the accident involved a Ford Sharon and a Volkswagen vehicle, all commercial conveying goods.

Eyewitnesses said that at least six passengers were seen burning in the vehicles that rammed into each other at about 12:15 pm.

Sector Commander of the FRSC, Yusuf Abdullahi, said that more details about the accident will be available after the rescue operation and a report from the Ganjuwa LGA Station was received.
