‘Painful loss’, Senator Natasha mourns Ifeanyi Ubah

The Senator representing Kogi Central, Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan has joined her colleagues in mourning the passing of Senator Ifeanyi Ubah, who died on July 27, 2024, in a London hospital.

In a press statement issued on Saturday by her Chief Press Secretary, Arogbonlo Israel she stated “I’m deeply saddened by the loss of my colleague and brother, Senator Ifeanyi Uba. His contributions to our nation will never be forgotten.

“Senator Ubah was a prominent businessman, philanthropist, and legislator who made significant contributions to Nigeria’s energy sector and the lives of its citizens.

“Senator Ubah was a true patriot and a champion of the people. His legacy will continue to inspire us to work towards a better Nigeria.”

Other colleagues praised Senator Ubah’s dedication and commitment to his constituents and the nation, with one senator saying, “He was a shining example of what it means to serve with integrity and compassion.”

The late Senator Ubah was said to have departed Nigeria for the UK, two days ago.

He would have been 53 on September 3.
