Pa Adebanjo was a respected political leader — Tinubu’s wife

First Lady Oluremi Tinubu has described the late Afenifere chieftain, Chief Ayo Adebanjo, as a respected political leader

She stated this during a condolence visit to his family in Lekki, Lagos.

The First Lady, during the visit, expressed gratitude for the opportunity to see the elder statesman shortly before his passing.

She offered prayers for the repose of his soul and strength for his widow, Chief Mrs. Christiana Anoko Ayo Adebanjo, and the entire family. Despite political differences, she eemphasised hat the late Adebanjo remained family.
