GOVERNORSHIP candidate of the Advanced Allied Party (AAP) in last Saturday’s election, Rev (Mrs) Adenike Victor-Tade, has said Oyo State will reclaim its lost glory, with the emergence of Seyi Makinde as the governor-elect of the State.
She made this known in a congratulatory message she sent to the governor-elect on Monday, adding that the victory of the PDP candidate in the governorship poll was a manifestation of the will of the people.
“The electorate has spoken and demonstrated their support and there is nothing anybody can do again about it. The results were overwhelming and it really showed that change is inevitable,” she said.

Mrs Victor-Tade, however, enjoined all stakeholders in the State to join the newly-elected governor in prayer and also admonished the people to render
their civic duties so that the state could move forward.
“As an individual, I am ready to work with him in job creation to ease out unemployment and increase the state IGR. Governance is about service,” she added.
