Oyo primary, secondary school students receive support from charity foundation

Published by

Students from selected primary and secondary schools in Oyo State have received support from Kasbell Grassroot Charity Foundation through its back to school programme to boost their academic performance.

Students of Community High School, Ajibode, Ibadan, the Oyo State capital; Ansar-udeen Grammar School, Iseyin; and Ladogan/Ijemba Community Primary School, Ladogan, Iseyin got support ranging from school uniforms, school bags, writing materials and cash support.

The foundation also extended the gesture to Elite Genius Educational Centre, Ibadan, where the students were surprised with the payment of their SSCE fees.

Founder, Kasbell Charity Foundation, Mrs Lateefah Oluwakemi Bello-Salami, noted that the annual back-to-school programme has become a symbol of transformation and empowerment for the less privileged.

She further noted that each year, the Foundation swings into action just before the start of the academic year, kicking off with a flurry of activities, from fundraising drives to gathering school supplies, uniforms, and books.

The foundation’s relentless dedication, according to Bello-Salami, to this noble cause has garnered support from the immediate friends of the founder, looking forward to receiving more donations from local community, philanthropists, and well-wishers.

She concluded that the foundation will not at any point relent its efforts at ensuring that Nigerian children irrespective of their parents’ social and financial status get educated.
