Oyo NUJ assures members of quality welfare packages

The Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ) Oyo State Council has assured its members of quality and adequate welfare packages.

This was contained in a new year message signed by the Union chairman Comrade Ademola Babalola, and the secretary Comrade Sola Oladapo.

Babalola promised to keep to all the promises to see to the welfare of its members and revive the union to the position where it rightly belongs.

The chairman also acknowledged the support and understanding of its members.

“We thank you for your support during the Dec 18 Council election in our dear state which saw to our emergence as your new set of executives. We promised not to let you down he said. ”

“Oyo NUJ appreciate God for his kindness that kept us through 2019 to witness 2020 in grand style ”

” We pray to God to continue to protect all journalists in Oyo state, grant them more wisdom and knowledge for fair reportage to sustain the democracy in our state and the country at large. He said ”

He prayed that Almighty God will grant them long life, sound health and abundant blessings in the new year.
