THE Oyo state judiciary has appointed a Chairman to steer the affairs of the Sub Committee of Screening and Appointment of Neutrals of the soon to be launched Oyo State Multi Door Court (OYMDC).
Barrister Kole Ojo has been appointed to coordinate the affairs of the screening committee and carry out the necessary appointments if neutral to ensure the smooth take off of the Multi Door Court.
Ojo until his appointment is the chairman of the Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) society in Oyo state and a seasoned arbitrator and mediator with international exposure.
The committee has further asked that individuals that wants to be considered for appointment to the Panel of Neutrals to step forward to take the responsibility
The committee wants suitably qualified and experienced members of the ADR Society, the NBA and other relevant professionals involved in ADR practice to apply as they are eligible to join the panel.
According to the committee, details on how to join and criteria including application conditions and fees will be announced at the next meeting of the ADR while the chairman of the committee is also available for enquiries.
