The road surely couldn’t have been in the thought of the state government. It has become a nightmare for residents and road users.
Sadly, there seems to be a conscious silence on the plight of the people whose livelihood depends to a large extent on the condition of the road.
This road has been giving residents and road users, especially motorists and okada riders, nightmares as a result of its poor state.
In recent times, the road has been prone to hold- ups, casualties and armed robbery attacks.
Residents and road users have tried their best to ameliorate the situation and bring it back to shape, but their efforts seem futile whenever there is heavy rainfall.
The road is a major one that links the Lagos/Ibadan highway to Oyo State and also to the University of Ibadan second gate.
If rehabilitated, it will help in improving socioeconomic activities in the community.
Indeed, its rehabilitation will help mark the beginning of a new dawn in the area.
