Ahead of the August 20 date set by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for the conduct of a fresh election to fill the vacant Oorelope Constituency seat in the Oyo State House of Assembly, the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state has fixed tomorrow for its primary through which its candidate will emerge.

The seat became vacant following the murder of its occupier, Honourable Gideon Aremu, on Friday, July 1, by unknown gunmen.

INEC had, at a recent meeting held with representatives of all registered political parties in the state, announced August 20 for the conduct of a fresh election to fill the vacant seat.
