The Oyo State Command of the Western Nigeria Security Network (WNSN), popularly known as Amotekun, Amen has rescued the two wives and two sons of a traditional leader, Baale Alagede, who were kidnapped at their residence at Alagede Village near Kola Daisi University, Akinyele, lbadan, on Tuesday at about 1a.m.
Tribune Online learnt that Amotekun operatives teamed up with local hunters and combed Ojutaye Forest along Oretu road to rescue the victims.

Unfortunately, one of the brave hunters from Oretu Village paid the supreme price as he died while operating alongside Amotekun in a forest called Ojo.
A credible source who confirmed the story described the hunter’s death as unfortunate, saying that efforts were ongoing to evacuate his corpse for burial.
At the time of writing this report, the Nigerian Tribune gathered that Oyo Amotekun operatives and local hunters were still in the bush where they had successfully holed the kidnappers in a particular area.
It was further learnt that police officers from the Anti-Kidnapping Squad (AKS) of Oyo State Police Command had taken the rescued victims from the Amotekun team.
