Governor Seyi Makinde
CANDIDATE of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) for Ona Ara constituency of Oyo State and former president of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Mr Wale Ajani, has asked the Oyo State Governor-elect, Mr Seyi Makinde, to get set for work, stating that the honeymoon would soon be over.
Ajani, who congratulated Makinde on his electoral victory, said the governor-elect had a serious task at hand to fulfil every one of the promises he made during the electioneering.
He said the victory was a call for service, a quest to ameliorate the errors of past administrations and a mandate to prove the difference between the past and the future of the State.

He further said the masses were looking forward to the performance from the governor-elect, tasking him to declare the state of emergency on economy and education on his assumption of office.
Ajani also said there was the need by the governor-elect to convene investment and economic summit within six months of assumption of office, which would help bring genuine investors to the State and to project available economic and employment opportunities in the State to prospective investors.
As a long-time crony to Makinde, Ajani expressed confidence in his capacity to deliver the expectations of the masses, while also tasking him to create rooms for youths to serve in his administration.
