Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola
Former Osun State governor, Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola, has thanked President Muhammadu Buhari for appointing him as the chairman of the board of the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC).
President Muhammadu Buhari last week reconstituted the board of the NIMC and made Prince Oyinlola its chairman. The board is expected to be inaugurated very soon.
Prince Oyinlola in a letter of appreciation addressed to the President assured him that he would not betray the confidence reposed in him.
“Sir, as a soldier and public administrator, I am very much aware that appointments such as this are given as call to service. I, therefore, rededicate myself to that service to Nigeria and its people. In particular, I pledge my loyalty to you and to the nation.
“While I take up the responsibility to coordinate the activities of the board, management and staff of the NIMC, I assure Your Excellency that promotion of public good and the general interest of the government and people of Nigeria will be my focus while on this assignment,” he wrote.
