Overflow 2017 to hold on Sunday

The annual gospel musical concert ‘Overflow’, will hold on Sunday, September 3rd, 2017 in Lagos. The gathering of praise, organised by Passion and Praise music ministry is its 15th edition themed ‘Rejoice’ and will feature notable gospel artistes and other anointed men of God.

In a statement issued by the organiser and team lead for Passion and Praise, Funmi Oloyede, disclosed that the concert’s vision was borne out of the desire to rekindle true worship in the body of Christ. The concert, which is one the group’s expression of her mandate, held its first edition in 2002.

She added that since it began, it has been 15 years of grace and fulfillment. “In spite of challenges, disappointments and pain, what has been the propelling force, is knowing that I do God’s bidding per time”.

Oloyede further said that, “the power of tenacity has kept the team this far. Fifteen represents rest and it’s no coincidence that the Passion and Praise team is fulfilling the purpose. The year is significant for us because 2017 is a year of jubilee. The concert will feature notable gospel singers including Pastor Kingsley Ike, Titi Oloyede and Aden Solomon. It promises to be a life transforming event. Our mission is to organise annual concerts, monthly worship altars, retreats, worship academy, conferences and outreaches”.

‘Passion and Worship’ was established in 2002 to contribute to the development of worship and leading men to understanding worship in truth and spirit.
