Our Rep must listen to us

Published by

Permit me space to state my grievances to the member representing Bodinga, Dange Shuni and Tureta Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Alu A Shehu, whose job it is to make laws through bills and motions, amend laws and carry out oversight functions. Beyond this, he should be the ears and eyes of his constituency, ensuring that they do not miss out in the sharing of national handout in the budget

The people of Bodinga, Dange Shuni and Tureta federal constituency have been missing out on good things that other constituencies get; no project in the area has featured in the budget, yet, we have a representative. To make matters worse, our voices are not being heard because our representative has neither sponsored a bill nor move any motion since 2007 that he was elected till date.

It is time to use our votes to put in someone with capacity to compete with his peers in the interest of the community; a man that is not intimidated and is willing to listen to our plight and be the voice of the people
