#OsunDecides2018: Police arrests another PDP chieftain, Dr Oladimeji

The arrested PDP chieftain, Dr. Oladimeji

LESS than 24 hours to the conduct of supplementary poll in four local governments to determine the actual winner of September 22 governorship election in Osun, another chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state, Dr Muyiwa Oladimeji was on Wednesday morning arrested by the Police.

Credible sources informed the TribuneOnline that the PDP chieftain, Oadimeji was nabbed when he allegedly paid a visit to the stalwart of the opposition, Alhaji Fatai Oyedele, popularly known as Diekola, who was currently being detained at the State Investigation and Intelligence Bureau (SIIB), located within the precinct of Osun State Police command, along Ring Road area.

Though details, culminating in his arrest were still sketchy as of the time of filing this report, our correspondent reliably gathered that Diekola and two FoI his aides, who were wounded during a violent attack may be paraded by the Police authorities soon.
