In the quest to equip voters with the right orientation ahead of the coming election, Dr Olugbile urged the community to prioritise registration and collection of voters card if they want to have the power to have a say in the process of electing credible and competent leaders.
The Technical Adviser stated that “The journey to elect credible and competent leaders with unquestionable character begins with citizens having the required instrument to cast their vote. In Nigeria, that instrument is the Permanent Voter’s Card (PVC).”
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), as part of its preparation for the forthcoming gubernatorial election in Osun has set apart Wednesday, April 11 to Monday, April 16, 2018 for the continuous voters’ registration (CVR) at the political ward level after which the CVR will continue at the LGA INEC office.
“The community mobilization exercise is taking our team to all the 38 political wards in the Odo-Otin/Ifelodun/Boripe Federal Constituency to ensure that they have the instruments they will use to ensure that they have a good representation in the constituency.”
