Osun ruling house warns prince to stop parading self as monarch

The Olugbode unit of the Ejitunde ruling house in Ola, Ejigbo local government area, has warned Prince Johnson Ajiboye to cease claiming to be the Olola of Ola.

The ruling house, speaking through Prince Sangoniran David Kolawole, stated that the chieftaincy case is still pending in court and Prince Ajiboye’s occupation of the palace is in defiance of the court’s judgment.

The Ejitunde ruling house accused Prince Ajiboye of misinterpreting the court’s ruling and urged the state authorities to intervene to prevent a crisis in the community.

The ruling house emphasised that any action contrary to the court ruling may lead to chaos in Ola, and reiterated that they were not involved in the selection process, considering Prince Ajiboye’s actions as strange.

The matter is still pending in court, and the ruling house is seeking a peaceful resolution to the issue.
