The member of the House of Representatives representing Ayedire/Iwo/Ola-Oluwa Federal Constituency, Hon. Mudashiru Lukman, in conjunction with the National Primary Healthcare Development Agency, has organised free medical outreach for over 1000 people in the constituency.
Declaring the program open, the Senior Legislative Aide to the lawmaker, Ibrahim Akala, said the outreach includes counselling, screening for diabetes, hypertension, Hepatitis, Malaria, Ulcer, and Eye Services, amongst others.
Speaking at the closing ceremony of the 2-day free medical outreach on Sunday at Iwo City Hall, Hon. Lukman explained that the programme was part of his efforts to improve the health and living conditions of his constituents.
According to him, “Health experts from the National Primary Healthcare Development Agency are in charge for two days to counsel our people, test, administer drugs and present eyeglasses for those that are due for it. Provision is made for at least 1000″, he said.
Beneficiaries, in their show of appreciation,, commended Honourable Lukman for the priority given to their health as constituents.
One of the beneficiaries, Mr Alade Samson from Ola-Oluwa Local Government, who commended the initiative, said the gesture.
