Osun ex-deputy gov, Clement Haastrup emerges new Owa Obokun of Ijesaland

Ex-deputy governor of OSUN state under former governor Isiaka Adeleke administration, Prince Clement Haastrup has emerged as the new Owa Obokun of Ijesaland.

Adesuyi Haastrup who is from Bilaro Oluodo Ruling House after his emergence, would be succeeding the late Oba Gabriel Adekunle Aromolaran as the 49th Owa Obokun of Ijesaland.

Prince Haastrup is said to have defeated nine other candidates in a selection process held at the Ilesa West Local Government Secretariat, Ilesa on Friday.
