Senator Ademola Adeleke
He maintained that no senatorial district, local government and community would be marginalised in the implementation of capital projects and provision of critical infrastructures, capable of making life more comfortable for the citizenry if elected as the governor of the state during the governorship election.
This was contained in a press statement signed by the director of media and publicity of Senator Ademola Adeleke campaign organisation, Mr Olawale Rasheed, which was forwarded to TribuneOnline in Osogbo, on Tuesday.
Adeleke, who described effective governance as germane to the social and economic growth of any society, maintained that his government would place a premium on human capital development through the creation of enabling an environment for generation of employment opportunities.
According to him, “I have humbled that though our visit was an impromptu one, you welcomed us with an open arm. Osogbo has been very receptive and that is why I feel very much at ease whenever I am here. Osogbo has recorded tremendous progress under your reign and as one of your numerous sons, we are proud of you”.

Adeleke, who currently represents Osun West Senatorial District in the National Assembly posited that “I am here to personally inform you and seek your royal blessing for the task of rescuing our state. The purpose of seeking the governorship seat is to correct the anomalies of the APC government. I am promising an even distribution of resources to every section of the state”.
In his remark, Ataoja of Osogbo, Oba Olanipekun said he was aware of the philanthropic activities of the PDP gubernatorial candidate in the state, adding that he should ensure fair treatment of Osogbo if elected the governor.
He further stressed that “the antecedents of your family are good and relishing and if it is the wish of God, your current political pursuit will materialise. But, you should ensure fairness to Osogbo if you get there because we are the capital of the state”.
