OSMA Awards: Mars Promotions set to host 9th edition for rising music stars

The 9th edition of the OSMA Awards, one of the most anticipated music award shows in Nigeria, is set to take place on Sunday, October 13, 2024. Organised by Mars Promotions, the event will be held at the Amazing Place Event Centre on Oda Road, Akure, Ondo.

The OSMA Awards have become a prominent platform for recognizing and celebrating fast-rising music talents, particularly among young entertainers. Over the years, the event has garnered attention for its emphasis on rewarding youth in the entertainment industry.

Speaking ahead of the event, the visionary behind the awards, Mr Ayodele Ojo, emphasised the importance of celebrating emerging talent. “You don’t have to become a big star before you are recognised in your environment. The awards give you an opportunity to be rewarded for hard work within a year,” said Ojo.

This year’s event promises an exciting night filled with drama, excitement, glitz, and glamour. In addition to performances by rising artists, notable dignitaries will present awards across 18 categories, including the prestigious Artiste of the Year. The best-dressed male and female attendees will also be recognised.
