The Vice President, Prof Yemi Osinbajo visited APC’s National Leader, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu at his Abuja residence on Friday ending rumours of a feud between them both regarding the 2023 Presidential elections.
Photos of the meeting released from media offices of both the VP and the APC leader show both hugging and walking out together after the meeting Friday afternoon in Asokoro, Abuja.
A source at the venue said both leaders had a “meeting catching up after Tinubu had been away for a long while abroad on medical grounds.”
According to the source, “Senator Tinubu was very happy to see the VP and the VP himself was glad. It was a one-on-one meeting and from all indications, this was a very good meeting.”
While the meeting was on, the source said the Speaker of the House of Representatives also joined the duo.
The source said only the three knew the kernel of their closed-door meeting.
At the end of the meeting, the former Lagos governor saw the Osinbajo off, walking with him from the top floor of the house all the way downstairs to the car.
