Acting President Yemi Osinbajo on Sunday in Abuja met behind closed doors with President of Ghana, Nana Akufo-Addo.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the meeting, which took place at the Aguda House, Presidential Villa, Abuja, lasted for more an hour.
Details of the meeting was not made immediately known to newsmen.
However, a senior protocol officer attached to the Office of the acting president told NAN that the Ghanaian president was on a private visit to Nigeria.
It would be recalled that Akufo-Addo first visited Nigeria on Dec. 19, 2016, where he met with President Muhammadu Buhari in the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
Akufo-Addo later attended the Imo State Thanksgiving Day in Owerri.
